Sweets and Pens (SMK St. Francis Convent (M))

I realized that I've only been sharing through my email and not in this website. And surprised to see that there were no stories about my school.
I guess I shall be the first :)
Its been 3 months since our last Recess Revo. That one was about giving out free tissues. We did. But unfortunately, we only managed to do for three days (we were planning to the whole week) but then the toilet aunty just stopped selling tissues and she said you have to ask from the office if you need tissues. From that day onwards, we had completely lost hope on continuing any recess revo work and just met up for prayer meetings and just pray, hoping God will lead any of us or give us any signs on what to do next.
And then, there was a new member who joined us.
She was very reluctant to join us at first but when she got to know what the prayer group is all about, she became excited all bout it.
When we finished our prayer group one day, the new person straightt away texted mt sister. Giving a whole alot of ideas on what to do.
I asked her to share it during the next prayer meeting and she did.
After discussing about it, we decided that we should give sweets to ALL of the students in the school. Like 3 or 4 classes a day just to bless them since some of them were having their Excel or Trials for SPM(ahem).
And then we decided, to give red pens to the teachers right after that week because some exams were ending and some were just starting. So red pens would really come in handy. With a nice tag on it saying " Thanks for everything Teacher. God Bless you. From the prayer group 2010" :)
Both events went awesomely awesome.
I've started this prayer group with only 3 or 4 people last year. Now God has blessed us with 15 members. He even "gave" us somebody who is always excited and constantly giving ideas for RR. She really affected me in way. Its really encouraging to see somebody like that in the group. I think she'll be a blessing to all of us.

Back on track (SMK Katholik, Petaling Jaya)

Reporting from CHSCF.
Sorry, have not shared for quite some time now.
We had quite a major hiccup for the past couple of weeks, and ended up not doing much. Last Friday Pastor Andy came to share with us, and through that short sharing, wow, a couple of us really were re-fired back up and knew that we had to do something, no matter what it was.
And today was amazing! We made it a point to pray, though it was just a prayer meeting, we gathered and surrounded our school and Malaysian flagpole to pray. From the usual 6/7 of us, today we had 15! I hope it continues to grow!
Today was the prefects installation also, so that means a lot of the older ones like me are 'retired', and it was amazing, cause for some reason, we just asked all those Christians prefects that we met to join us, and they did! Not everyone had a chance to pray, but everyone sure was unashamed to gather and seek God.
Praise the Lord! Pray that more will join! |

| We have PRAYER GROUPS meeting in various schools throughout the week. Our focus is revival in schools, and it’s a gathering and movement of students hungry to see a mighty move of God and to make a lasting impact in their schools. We believe Prayer moves mountains and nothing is impossible for those who believe! |

PRAYER FOCUSES

- Claim our next target: 240 teens, 500 teens by the end of the year.
- Let's go all out to fill The House this Sunday. Pray and invite and believe for salvation.
- Pray for our Home Parties happening tomorrow and for individual Homes growth. Keep TN5 Home Party in prayer.
- Pray for a strong leadership team and for the right labourers to serve with us.
- Pray for our RR Groups/Project Mordecai/CFs. Pray for courage and protection. Let's pray for them to grow as well.
- Pray for Acts Church as a whole; for the leadership and the people of the church. Pray against distraction and disunity. Let's be a church that is growing together.
- Pray for provision and let's also sow into the remaining 8% of the deposit for our new building. Let's claim this "promise land"!
